Writer and historian Anna Beer takes us on a journey through the splendour of 17th-century Italy for this fascinating look at the women who dared to write music in a man’s world.  Barbara Strozzi and Francesca Caccini are the featured composers struggling against societal norms and finally gaining the acknowledgement they deserve.

The morning walk has sold out, so an additional afternoon guided walk at 2 pm after the talk/concert has been added.
