the Sitkovetsky Trio & Friends, our Pre-Concert Talk by the
‘erudite, funny…’ Katy Hamilton will delve into the historical context and musical
detail of this evening’s programme, enhancing your experience of the full performance
to follow!
The concert opens with Beethoven’s
famously atmospheric ‘Ghost’ Piano Trio, and the Trio will then join forces
with two of the Yehudi Menuhin School’s own pupils to perform Dvořák’s chamber
masterpiece – his sublime second Piano Quintet.
